How It Works
A monitoring job is a single, scoped engagement: you define the feed, the period and the questions, Audera does the listening, and you receive a complete, searchable record. Here is what happens at each stage.
Five steps
- 01
- Tell us what to monitor
- 02
- We monitor the source
- 03
- Audio becomes searchable data
- 04
- We identify what matters
- 05
- You receive the results
Set up the job
Add the audio source, the monitoring period and what you want to find.
In your account you describe the source, a live stream, recordings you hold or a receiver you operate, confirm that you are authorized to have it monitored, set the start and end of the monitoring period and list the keywords, names, callsigns, incidents or questions you want answered. The fixed price is shown before you pay by card.
We monitor the source
Audera records a live source throughout the agreed period, or ingests your recordings in one pass.
Once the source is verified, recording starts automatically at the agreed time and continues until the period ends; recordings you provide are segmented the same way. Audio is captured continuously and stored in time-ordered segments so nothing is lost and every moment can be located later.
Audio becomes searchable data
Speech is transcribed and organized with timestamps and metadata.
Each audio segment is transcribed with automated speech recognition. The resulting text is stored with its timestamp, duration and a reference to the source recording, producing a searchable transcript of the whole monitoring period.
We identify what matters
Relevant events, keywords, entities and patterns are extracted.
The transcript is analyzed against your criteria. Keyword occurrences are logged, names, places and identifiers are extracted, and notable communications are organized into a chronological event timeline with links back to the audio.
You receive the results
Get the recordings, transcripts, event data and analysis report.
At the end of the monitoring period you receive the complete audio archive, the full timestamped transcript, the event timeline and keyword findings in structured formats, and a concise written report with audio references.
The processing pipeline
Every job runs through the same pipeline so that results are consistent and every finding can be traced back to the audio it came from.
Feed received
You provide a legally accessible stream or recording and the monitoring window.
Continuous recording
The feed is captured for the entire period without gaps.
Audio segmentation
Recordings are split into short, time-ordered segments.
Speech transcription
Each segment is transcribed into timestamped text.
Event & entity extraction
Keywords, names, identifiers and notable events are identified.
Searchable timeline
Everything is organized chronologically and linked to the audio.
Final report
A concise analysis is written and delivered with the data.
Every step keeps the link between text and audio, so a finding in the report can be traced to the exact recording it came from.
Read the detailed process
What happens before monitoring starts
Before recording begins, Audera checks the source: that a live stream or a device relay is reachable and audio is arriving, or that uploaded recordings decode. You confirm the monitoring period, the keywords and questions that should guide the analysis, and that you are authorized to have the audio monitored. The fixed price is shown before you pay, and monitoring starts automatically at the scheduled time; recordings you hold are processed right away.
What happens during the monitoring period
The feed is recorded continuously and stored in time-ordered segments. Transcription runs as audio is captured, so the searchable record builds up throughout the period rather than only at the end. If the feed becomes unreachable, the interruption is logged so that the final delivery states exactly which periods were captured.
What happens at the end
When the period ends, recording stops and the analysis stage completes: keyword findings are compiled, events are organized into the timeline and the report is written. You then receive the complete audio archive, the timestamped transcript, structured event data and the report. Recordings and transcripts are retained for an agreed period after delivery unless you request earlier deletion.
What you need to provide
- The source: a stream URL, the recordings themselves (uploaded or linked), or a receiver connected through a relay.
- The start and end of the monitoring period, including time zone.
- Keywords, names, identifiers, locations or incident types to track, and any questions you want the report to answer.
- Confirmation that the feed is lawful for Audera to monitor, record and process.
Need a feed monitored for a defined period?
